Who doesn’t LOVE Chocolate????
I’m always amazed to find some people really don’t like chocolate, can you believe it? There has to be some kind of fun psychology test for that. What does it mean if you LOVE it? So if you’re in the group who LOVES chocolate, especially the darker kind, this recipe is for YOU! Consequently if you like more of a milk chocolate flavor, just add a little more sweetener and this recipe is just for YOU, too! Well, that’s easy!!! And if you don’t like Chocolate very well, come back next week for another sensational flavor you might just fall absolutely in LOVE WITH! My mouth starts watering just thinking about next week’s recipe!!!! It’s got to be one of my favorites 🙂
Got Over-ripe Bananas?
Since this recipe contains 3 cups of frozen bananas I should probably share a little something that might help you and your family like it did ours. When my Mom was in Florida with my family, she went to a swap meet and bought one of those boxes of produce bags that makes fruit and veggies last longer. So she tried a little experiment I thought I would share.
Most produce release ethylene gases while ripening, which speeds up the aging process. The green produce bags contain Oya, which is a natural mineral that absorbs and removes the ethylene gas given off by ripening fruits and veges. Removing the ethylene gas extends the life of the fruits and veggies. Looks like it worked! These are all from the same bunch of bananas. The one on top of the bag was put in the special green produce bag for 1 week. The other bananas stayed out on the counter. Seems like the bag worked!
Processor NO Blender
Just a little helpful hint… Add all the ingredients in your food processor. We started these recipes using a blender but soon found out the food processor is the way to go. It’s easier to scoop out of a food processor than a blender. I use an older version that works but someday I would like the one that has a bowl scraper. Let it Rest B4 Scooping
If you’re going to freeze your Chocolate Frozen Yogurt, you’ll want to place in the freezer for 6 hours or more. Before you’re ready to eat, let it rest. Sit the FROYO out on the counter for 10-20 minutes, depending on how hot your kitchen is.
